How Does The ETA Work ?

It is very simple really.

All you need is secure access to the internet, a valid credit card, a valid passport from one of these countries, and then you click the link at the bottom of this page which says BUY ETA.

First, Click the BUY ETA button. Then read or not the privacy statement.

Have your credit card and passport ready and follow the simple instructions.

Credit Cards
Payment is by credit card only. The cards accepted by this site are American Express, Mastercard and Visa.

Your Passport
You must have a valid passport. The most important thing to be aware of is if your passport will expire within the time you are in Australia or within the 12 months of your purchasing an Australian Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) Visa.

Your passport must be valid for the duration of your stay in Australia or you MUST re-new your passport and GET A NEW ETA Visa on the new passport.
